Yu-Jui Yvonne Wan, PhD is Professor of Pathology and Laboratory of Medicine in the SOM with more than 35 years of experience studying the role of nuclear receptors and their ligands in regulating endobiotic metabolism, xenobiotic detoxification, proliferation, and carcinogenesis. Her current research program focuses on the mechanisms by which nutrients via the gut microbiota and their metabolites affects carcinogenesis in the digestive tract.
