Su Hao Lo, PhD is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine in the SOM and his overall research interests are to understand the molecular mechanisms that underlie the structure and function of focal adhesions, integrin-mediated junctions that attach a variety of different cell types to their underlying substratum. Focal adhesion dysfunction is known to be relevant to various forms of cancer.
