Paramita M Ghosh, PhD is a Professor in the SOM with joint appointments in the Department of Urological Surgery and the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine. Her research focuses on the signaling pathways involved in the progression of bladder and prostate cancer specially the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway, the EGFR family and various cytoskeletal proteins including Filamin A and RhoA. A key strength of her laboratory is the development of novel therapies using established drugs in a preclinical setting.
