Luis Carvajal-Carmona, PhD is Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and investigates patterns of genetic susceptibility to cancer in human populations using admixture mapping, genome-wide association studies, linkage analyses, candidate studies and next generation sequencing. The laboratory also investigates patters of cancer evolution using patient samples and mouse models.
