Janai Carr-Ascher, MD PhD is Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology,and her research is focused onidentifying novel targets in sarcoma and moving these discoveries into the clinic. Her program studies transcriptional regulation to identify novel pathways and factors driving tumor formation and metastasis using molecular biology and animal models of cancer to understand complex signaling networks.She is a junior mentor and currently mentors one postdoctoral scholar.
