Joseph Tuscano, M.D. is Professor of Hematology and Oncology in the SOM with an active research program in targeted, antibody-based and other immuno-therapeutics for the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma. His group has identified and characterized promising anti- antibodies and other therapeutics for the treatment of NHL. They have optimized the efficacy by modulating CD22-mediated signaling as well as using them as vehicles to deliver chemotherapy-laden liposomes, nanoparticles and as a platform to develop antibody-drug conjugates.
