Jodi Nunnari, PhD is Distinguished Professor and Chair of Molecular and Cellular Biology. Her work has addressed the physiological functions and mechanisms of mitochondrial division and fusion, which are critical determinants of overall mitochondrial shape and distribution. Her work provides fundamental and new insights into how mitochondrial metabolism and mitochondrial stress pathways, such as cells death, promote cell growth and division in cancer.
